Orphée et Euridice - Michele Mariotti

On February 24th Michele Mariotti will conduct the first performance at the Teatro alla Scala in the French version of Orphée et Euridice by Christoph Willibald Gluck.

On stage Juan Diego Flórez as Orphée, Christiane Karg as Euridice, Fatma Said – coming from the Academy of Teatro alla Scala – as Amour and the Hofesh Shechter Dance Company, making its debut at the Piermarini.

The production, coming from the Royal Opera House in London, is directed by John Fulljames and Hofesh Shechter. Sets and costumes are by Conor Murphy, light design is by Lee Curran.
